Furthest left on the large slab wall, start on a scramble/slab and clip the first bolt. The second bolt protects a small ‘roof’ cruise to the top keeping just right of the arete/crack.

Ride the continuous crack line just on the left side of the big centered pine tree. It takes anything from finger to large hand size protection and offers many placements. Watch out for the Ravens!

The start can be difficult if you want it to be by starting in the corner underneath the large shelf. There is a staircase used to access the right most routes that you could use to start if avoiding the crux is desired. Otherwise, a very fun full body mantle onto a shelf is the crux before the first bolt. Climb left of anchors for easier terrain, in line for moderate, and a bit to the right for some harder to reach crimps/pockets. Anchors are placed for an easy top rope setup.

Super short crack, can set up top ropes on either side of it for some short beginner routes, mind the trail and potential fall off the trail to below. Possible to link the ~50 feet below for a long and easy distance climb.

A great line that runs straight up a prominent rock structure. Mix of ledges and pockets that transitions to a more vertical face climb ending at exposed anchors on the large (but separated) peak. Crux at the start and roughly 3/4 of the way up.

Start in a vertical crack at the forest floor, and make your way up to the blocky belay station. Top out at the trail, or walk the slab all the way to the top for going the distance. First pitch is 60 feet 5.8, with plenty of great holds and features with good size crack to follow for placing gear. Second pitch is 70 feet and 5.6, getting easier as you make your way up to the top. 

Climb up the ‘staircase’ to get to the start, first 2 bolts are a gimme, crux is at the 4th bolt during a series of crack moves. One more big move to stick the anchors.

Just behind the small oak tree, this is the most quality route on this wall. Follow good starting holds to a thin crack. Top out on the ledge.

Similar start to route #9 but follows the crack. Finish at the anchors of route #9 by moving around the boulder at the top, can be a tricky last move!

Grab some good ledges and feature-full shiny faces on this blocky multi-pitch! Route starts in a crack/corner at the left/bottom of the slabby area at Carney and heads up to the slab overlook.  First pitch is 50 feet 5.6 up to a belay station. Second pitch is 70 feet 5.5, getting easier as you go up.  Can top out near the trail using a tree as anchor, or go all the way up for the best workout!

Through the small triangle-shaped roof. Watch for loose holds.

Just on top of the staircase, route starts with big holds which continue most of the way up. Veer left or right slightly for some variation in difficulty and end at the placed anchors basically standing at the edge of the camping platform. Walk left to top out if desired (this can save you from using the walking path to get to the top).

Climb up the ‘staircase’ to get to the start. Similar style to the route on its left, but smaller holds all around and no crack to help. Smear, smear, smear, good luck if it’s wet.

Oh yes I DID!  Welcome to the wide world of offwidth/squeeze chimney climbing, except its protected by a few bolt's. Route starts out at 12" and maintains that for the first half then flares to 18".  There’s a thin seam running straight up one wall just inside this beast.  Quintessential chock stone rest mid route.  

Furthest right, bolted route on the large slab, follow a crack that cuts to the left for the first 3 bolts, then some near vertical climbing for the finish. Crux is near the last bolt.

Climb up the ‘staircase’ to get to the start, climb up the slab on the right and stem for a fun 5.8 and vary with a little bit of crack climbing with your left side, stick close to the arete for a more challenging 5.9.

Middle route on the large slab, similar start as the route to the left, the ‘roof’ may be tricky for new climbers!

Throw yourself up to the first ledge and the rest is history! Short but fun climb that offers many ways to ascend this crack.

Slabby climb with some good opportunity for underclings. More difficult variations depending on which side of bolt line you climb. Finish at anchors just higher than The Bearded Lady (the route to climbers' left). Crux at the start and roughly 3/4 of the way up.

Make your way through the opening crack system and ledges to the top of this short, but challenging route.  Make sure to admire the Green quartzite swirls!

The start is up a very slippery overhanging, white quartzite wall with tricky gear to a small mossy ledge up to the left of the crack. Then go upward through a small dihedral. The holds are loose and the crack may be wet. Watch out for a large death block on the right side above the ledge. From the start it is about 40' to a nice ledge with a good 4" pine tree immediately above the crack. You can belay from there or if running it out, the slope kicks back and you can climb up and slightly left up the slab. Trending leftwards on the slab towards a large pine tree will take you to the upper trail. The route can be done in one long pitch.

On the left side below a small birch tree. Start is about 10' to the left of the small oak tree at the base of the wall.

A fun Trad or Top Rope line just to the right of the off-width, ending in anchors for protection.  Staircase landings make it a great first time trad learner and there is plenty oh holds to hang onto.

Starts at the Arete just to the right of Funambulism. Ride the arete or face climb as you'd like for a similar difficulty but change in moves.  End at the ring anchors placed just above the giant separated boulder. A classic Carney Climb!

This climb offers it all... A featurless slab start puts you into the overhung Arete. Unlock the ledge above to transition to a easier, good hand-holding face that takes you to the top. 

A proud sun-soaked route with quality stone and quality pro. 

South facing with great exposure and position. An excellent place to take your friends that are new to climbing, with a sub-ten minute approach hike through some classic U.P. state land, follow blazes to the wall. This crag is all quartzite and slippery when wet, the bolted routes are all well protected and there is a ton of room for top rope anchors. To hike around to the top, follow the crag map to the west along the thin trail halfway up the wall, then cut in going uphill (north) after a staircase at the big red pine. The view from the top is great and it has potential for a bit of camping, not to mention it’s out of the mosquitos and great for sunsets! This crag is a great place for new climbers, with plenty of options for more difficult grades in the future, the variety of easy terrain and good holds make it ideal for those that don’t have climbing shoes, a stiff hiking shoe will do the trick!
