Sit-start straddling climber's-left corner of the slab face. Gain the jug on the far-left of the slab-face (crux), and climb with ease to the top.

Freestanding Rock Arete

Climb the noticeably overhung arete on fairly small crimps, from a sit start - a few stout moves bring you to a bomber lip, with a juggy topout. Once you've got the sequence, the crux is probably just lifting your ass off the ground.

Awkward sit-start to the left of the arete, by the wide seam. Climb direct to better holds, and an easy topout.

One of the more sandbagged boulders in Central Park (at least on the lower end of the grade spectrum). Short and sweet problems: four or five moves on sharp holds, followed by generally easy topouts. Most problems start from sit-starts though, and sometimes getting off of the ground can be the hardest part. Admittedly, the grades sometimes make more sense after spending an hour and a half puzzling over the beta, but good luck convincing yourself that the crimpy overhung arete is a V1... 

  This boulder is awesome for when you have an hour or two to yourself, with no spotter or crashpad. If you try climbing it wet, good luck.
